Poetry Friday
Wow! I just realized that yesterday was my 100th post! Cool.
For today's Poetry Friday I have an original cinquain about spring. It's been a brutal winter in the Midwest (and more cold coming this week), so I am so happy to see robins popping about the yard and tulip leaves sprouting out of the ground! My kids' spring break also starts this afternoon-bring on the chaos! Actually I'm very much looking forward to full days with no hectic schedules and family fun!
LONG WINTER by Kelly Polark
Cozy
from the cold. I'm
wrapped in my comforter.
I emerge from my warm cocoon.
It's spring!
