Ohhhh...I think you will love it Kelly. I went to my first conference a few years ago and met soooo many new friends. It is a great resource and an opportunity to connect with people who all have the same interests.

Can't wait to "read all about it."

How fun! I hope you have a great time, Kelly. I haven't been to a writer's conference yet, just homeschool ones. I bet they're a lot of fun.

It was great to meet you Kelly!! Now I have a voice to go with the words on your blog. :)

Great conference, wasn't it? It's going to take me forever to write up a coherent account of events, I think. My head is still spinning from Cheryl Klein's talk on plot. :)

Poetry, kids lit, and headbanging music - I'm hooked! Seriously, I just found you at Gottawrite Girl, so I just had to say hi after reading a few posts. I write poetry and kids stories, too (used to self-publish a kids magazine). Anyhoo, hope you had fun at the conference (I'm jealous).
