I'm Quite Gifted

Good day, peoples! And how was your holiday? Mine was wonderful. Fun times with family. Spoiled with too many great gifts. Cool new purse, leather coat that hubby and son picked out, clothes to keep me stylin', gift cards that will keep me shopping through springtime. I also received Stephen King's On Writing. I've been wanting to read that one for a while.
Also was gifted with this. What the? I can't wear the glove while dancing like MJ? How will I get a good grip when I do the grab the crotch move? This Wii game is pretty fun and a good workout too. I think I'll do a vlog of my sweet new moves. Or not.

What wise guy put this in my stocking? What the heck?

But then again, someone else in our household received this for Christmas... You strategically stick them in the back of your unders. Seriously.

We have a very classy family, you know.

And look what gift Sesame Street gave to the children of True Blood fans!

What fun gifts did you give or receive this season?

Love the coat and purse. I don't get why you can't wear the glove while playing the Michael Jackson game??? I think my neices got that so I'll have to check it out.

I got enough cash to buy a new laptop! PTL! I really needed that.

Melissa - Have fun with your future laptop purchase! I think you just can't wear the glove on the same hand as the Wii remote... Will have to see!
Madeleine - I see you got some great books as pressies!!
Jon - Blessed indeed! Glad you were too.
Steph, Kimber, Suz and Lola - My daughter just videoed me dancing with her cam. IF I decide to vlog, I really, really need to practice more. I have a dancing rep to protect! :)

Kelly,

I would bet that you got the Monkey Butt powder from your sister, but, in any case, ask her what it's for.

I think if you get a lovely coat and purse, then it follows that you have to also get the Lady Anti Monkey Butt. I mean....everything can't be sunshine and light, you know?

I am still laughing out loud....

Merry Christmas. Looks like you did good. I love the jokes. On Writing was a great book and chalked full of insight. Most of all, you will find a way that works for you. His way is his way, and it works great for a lot of people. Most of how I work is based off that book. However, don't let anything define you. Write the way that sounds real.

Love the blog. It is cute.

Kristi - Subtle butt is silly, isn't it?!
Alex - And Santa is silly too! Enjoy your new TV!
Dezz - The goofy presents did bring a lot of giggles which I'm sure was the primary intention! I hope I never have a reason to use the AntiMonkey Butt!
Kim - Glad you liked the True Mud! And enjoy your Kindle!
Dennis - Denise did not give the Monkey Butt but she was the buyer of the Subtle Butt!
Kelly - Yes, we love potty humor in this household. :)
Life101 - Thanks for stopping by for a giggle!
Shelley - Ha! I agree!! ;)
Cynthia - My motherinlaw gave me the purse and my hubby and kids the coat. All have great taste!
Draven - Thanks for coming by. I"m looking forward to Stephen's insights.

Dude! I have a bottle of Anti-Monkey Butt on my nightstand! I'm thinking our classy families would get along quite well :)

Hee hee. The anti-monkey butt is sold in the motorcycle industry for long days in the saddle.

Your goodies have Kelly written all over them!!!

Hmmm...got lots of great gifts. Husband made me some tables for the sitting area in our bedroom. Will try to post photos. Oldest Daughter made me an awesome CD with songs I like. Very cool of her. The three littlest ones did some adorable art projects...those are always winners. And I bought myself too bags and a jacket...mine scream Anita. :)

Direct all questions about "monkey butt" to me.....long Grand Canyon hikes require TLC for the crotch. (from: "SH*T MY DAD SAYS")

I'm sending that truemud link to the wife right now lmao. Your husband and son coordinate well.

Carolina Valdez Miller said...

Dang, you are one styling chickie! You really should wear that glove with your new coat! Or...not. But the coat and purse probably don't need much accessorizing, huh? They're gorgeous all by themselves!

Love the True Mud. Way cute!

Also, your family is too classy. I need you to adopt me.

Kelly said...

Sherrie - Indeedy they would!!
Denise - Perhaps I could lend you my pink bottle then.
Anita - Did the CD have Jason Mraz on it? Very sweet of her and very handy of hubby making the tables!
Dad - I am either impressed or horrified that your first comment on my blog includes the word crotch in it. ;)
Chris - My kids liked it too because I am always talking about True Blood (and obviously they can't watch that!).
Carol - You are welcome in our humble home anytime! And I'll let you wear the glove!

Sharon K. Mayhew said...

You are going to have to show us some of your moves...with the glove to be sure, Kelly! What a fun gift....

It looks like those comedy classes are still paying off. (wink)

Have a wonderful New Year's Eve...May all your Rock and Roll Dreams come true in 2011...

Looks like you made out like a bandit. I am with everyone else out here in the blogosphere - post a vlog. Can't wait to see it! I got a towel warmer for christmas, but now my towels will always be warm after a bath. Can't get better than that! Happy New Year!

Bob Sanchez said...

You're going to like the Stephen King book!

MG Higgins said...

Ha! How WILL you do an appropriate crotch grab without the gloves?!!! An important question to ponder going into the new year. It's boring, but my best presents were two Amazon gift cards so I can feed the hungry e-book beast.

Kelly said...

Sharon - I seriously love this game! It's so much fun plus a good workout!
Thanks, Christy! I just finished a book so will read King's next!
J. Tuttle - I didn't know there was such a thing! A warm towel after a shower would be heavenly!
Bob - I'm sure to! Everyone raves about it!
Mel - Ahhh, have fun choosing books for yourself! Always fun!
